The Lois DeBerry Special Needs Facility is operated by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and located at 7575 Cockrill Bend Boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee and opened in 1992. and is equipped to house up to 800 inmates. Of those beds, 268 are assigned to the medical unit, 376 are assigned to the mental health unit and 156 are assigned to inmate workers who provide institutional support services.

Lois DeBerry Special Needs Facility Visits

Visitation hours are from 8:00am to 2:30pm. Visitors will not be processed in after 1:30pm, due to the limited amount of time a visitor would have to visit. Routine visitation schedule is Saturday, Sunday and the following designated state holidays; New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
